Good golly, there's a lot of work involved in creating a page about nothing. I haven't done this before because I didn't know where to begin. I wanted to build a simple fun page where I could play and not try to impress potential employers, directly. I have many interests: art, movies, writing, books, games and gaming, conspiracy theories and aliens, and almost everything related to the Internet and World Wide Web. Am I an "expert" in any of these areas? Not at all. Not even close. Could I be? Sure, I am obsessive enough. However, I tend to get distracted, and start to follow different threads while researching, which leads to new interests that grow from the original quest. Child-like curiosity and a child-like attention span. Some of the things that fascinate me, such as aliens, UFOs, and conspiracies, are passive interests. I can't get obsessed about the Illuminati, Area 51 conjecture, or the Kennedy assassinations. I am not as worried about the Freemasons as perhaps I ought to be. Visiting Rachel, Nevada is number 102 on the things I want to do before I die list, which is about thirty places after drinking myself to death with fresh fruit margaritas at a patio café in San José, Costa Rica. When you consider the fact that I quit drinking more than six years ago– – It's time to update my things to do before I die list, me thinks. This fun page is beginning to look a lot like work.
